Las Vegas Piano School is not a convenient neighborhood studio and not casual piano lessons.
It is serious, professional, university-level piano training delivered in a private setting—created for families and adults who want real results, not years of unfocused lessons.

I created Las Vegas Piano School & Online Piano University to offer the highest level of piano education available in Las Vegas outside of a formal college or conservatory. As a college and university professor, I bring top-tier academic and concert-level standards directly into private instruction—saving students time while delivering measurable progress.

I am Dr. Maria “Masha” Pisarenko, an international classical concert pianist, Doctor of Piano, and university professor. I currently serve as Piano & Music Faculty at the College of Southern Nevada and Southern Utah University. I am not a hobby teacher—I teach piano at the highest professional level and apply that same level of discipline, structure, and artistry to every private student I accept.

My musical path began in Siberia, Russia, where I was recognized as a child prodigy. I began piano at age five, gave my first solo recital at seven, and performed as a concerto soloist with symphony orchestras by eight. After being recognized for top-level performance at the Tchaikovsky Youth Piano Competition in Moscow, I was immediately invited to study at one of the most elite music schools in the world—the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory School for Gifted Children.

I later earned Bachelor’s (B.A) and Master’s (M.A) degrees in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the Gnessins Russian Academy of Music, followed by a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) in Piano Performance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

As a performer, I am a prizewinner of major international piano competitions, including:

• International Piano Competition in Memory of Sviatoslav Richter (Paris, France)
• Frederic Chopin International Competition (Rome, Italy)
• Reno Chamber Orchestra Competition
• University of Nevada, Las Vegas Piano Competition
• Multiple national piano competitions in Russia

My students consistently earn top prizes at Las Vegas Music Teachers Association (LVMTA) competitions and festivals and are accepted into Las Vegas Academy of the Arts (LVA), as well as music colleges and universities in the U.S. and internationally.

I also serve the professional music community as:
